The Job
Are you a recent graduate or early-career professional passionate about technology and communication? INKY Technology is looking for a Junior Sales Engineer to join our team. In this junior-level role, you’ll bridge the gap between our sales team and technical solutions, learning the ropes of Sales Engineering while contributing to our mission of making email communication safe.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and demonstrate how INKY’s solutions address them.
- Deliver engaging technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers.
- Assist in designing and presenting custom solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Stay up to date with INKY’s technology and assist in providing technical expertise to clients and the sales team.
- Participate in sales meetings, RFP responses, and customer success initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience (below).
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a technical or customer-facing role (internships count!).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with an ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- A desire to learn and grow into a Sales Engineering role.
- Enthusiasm for problem-solving and a customer-first mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms and cloud technologies.
- Basic knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., SMTP, IMAP, DNS) related to email systems.
- Experience with scripting or basic programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for troubleshooting or automating tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose technical issues in real-time.
- Creativity in proposing innovative solutions to complex customer challenges.
